Jim Parsons

Jim has been active in private equity since 1981, when he joined Michigan Capital and Service, the private equity subsidiary of NBD Bancorp, Inc. He joined RFE in 1986. Jim is a past Chairman of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies and a past President of the Midwest Regional Association of SBICs. He has served on the boards of directors of more than 20 RFE portfolio companies and is currently a Director of AbelConn, Brook & Whittle, GAPRC Group, Lectrus and Plantation Products. Jim is a graduate of Williams College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, and the University of Michigan, where he received a Master of Business Administration degree.
